Winemaker Notes
Our 1999 SonomaCountyCabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in our vineyards located in both the Dry Creek (69% Estate) and Alexander (31% Kreck Estate) Valleys. The blending of the softer Dry Creek fruit with the heavier fruit from Alexander Valley produces a smooth, rich, full-bodied Cabernet that will age beautifully.
Tasting Notes
Bursting with aromas of blackberry jam and spice. This wine caresses the palate with layers of fruit and anise and leather. The wine has a dark ruby color and exhibits medium body with moderate tannins. The finish is long and lovely.
