Winemaker's Notes

This wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer from grapes grown on the Mill Creek estate property. The location is influenced by the cool fog from the Russian River Valley but also the daytime heat of the Dry Creek area. The vines are purposely farmed to yield flavorful berries ideal to their varietal.  As with all Mill Creek wines, grapes for this wine were picked while still cool early in the morning and were immediately taken to the winery to begin the wine making process. The wine was bottled on February 16th, 2024.

Tasting Notes

A nose of honeysuckle and stone fruits is followed by flavors of marmalade and crisp apple.  The finish is refreshing with firm acidity and a subtle touch of minerality driven by the Gewürztraminer. This unique blend will elevate any grilled chicken, complement delicate fish, and add to Friday's book-club luncheon and Sunday's party. Heather's Cuvée has become a very popular addition to our lineup.
