The team at Mill Creek Vineyards is small but mighty! The winery is a family-owned, third generation business that was founded in 1965 by the Kreck family. However, six decades in business would not be possible without our entire team, who are all like family to us. Meet our family and wonderful team that bring Mill Creek Vineyards to life.
Bill Kreck
Bill Kreck co-founded the winery in 1974 after nearly a decade of growing grapes in Dry Creek Valley. As the general manager and owner, he led the business for many years. Today, Bill remains actively involved at the winery, helping anywhere needed and sharing wisdom and expertise he has built over the last 50 years in the wine business. Bill is often seen driving by on a forklift or tractor, quick with a wave and true to his farming roots.
Yvonne Kreck
Yvonne Kreck, the heart and hospitality of Mill Creek Vineyards, has graciously hosted visitors and shared our wines since 1990. As co-owner of the winery, Yvonne had led the team over decades, with a kind, down-to-earth demeanor everyone knows well. Today, Yvonne advises on special events and tastings, general operations and still enjoys hosting visitors from near and far.
Jeremy Kreck
Jeremy is the winemaker and vineyard manager at Mill Creek Vineyards. Growing up in Alexander Valley, he followed his family’s farming roots and started driving the old Massey Ferguson tractor at age 12. His lifelong experience in the vineyards fostered a “vineyards first” approach to winemaking, and an ongoing thoughtful process of innovative farming and winemaking techniques to produce all Mill Creek wines.
Brian Kreck
Brian tackles a wide range of projects for Mill Creek primarily focusing communicating with, and hosting, guests at the Mill Creek Tasting Room. He lives on the property with his wife Sandra and their rotating menagerie of dogs, cats and foster animals.
Bruce Thomas
Some (many) may say Bruce needs no introduction. He joined Mill Creek in 1995 and is well-known and loved by many visitors, friends, and wine club members. Bruce has been an invaluable part of the tasting room at Mill Creek Vineyards, providing excellent, laid-back hospitality for nearly 30 years.
Josh Cortopassi
Josh is the Tasting Room Hospitality Lead at Mill Creek Vineyards. With extensive experience in both the Alexander and Napa valleys, Josh brings a vibrant energy to the tasting room, warm hospitality, and ensures every visitor has a delightful and memorable experience.
Nicholas Munsell
Nicholas, the Assistant Winemaker at Mill Creek Vineyards, is the true hero of the cellar, doing "the real work" according to Jeremy. His superpowers? Wrestling barrels, taming grapes, and attention to winemaking details - all while making it look like a casual stroll through the vineyard.
The Vineyard Team
The vineyard crew at Mill Creek (Arnulfo, Elodia, Maria, Mariela, Yolanda, Jose) are the backbone of our operations and work tirelessly to ensure each grape is cultivated with the utmost care. Their dedication and expertise are evident in every row of vines, from planting and pruning to harvest. Their hard work and vineyard skills are the foundation of Mill Creek's success.
Sherrie Mazzanti
Sherrie is the bookkeeper and office manager at Mill Creek Vineyards, and the friendly and helpful face of our office. While mostly working behind the scenes, Sherrie handles the many administrative duties of a wine business. As a bonus, Sherrie is a talented culinary enthusiast and helps with pairings, recipes, and food at winery special events.
